Wise Counselling offers sex therapy, psychedelic integration therapy, ICBC counselling, and clinical counselling. We are committed to providing a holistic approach to counseling that honours an individual's unique needs and capacities.

Therapy is a journey where the counsellor is a fellow traveler, walking alongside you with genuine compassion, curiosity, and acceptance. Creating a safe space for connection, expression, discovery, and healing.

In psychotherapy, clients can uncover new insights about themselves, their relationships, and their lives, which can lead to self-awareness, personal growth, empowerment, and transformation.

The work together will be trauma-informed, culturally responsible, anti-oppressive, sex-positive, and collaborative. We welcome people 18+, of all genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and so on.

Wise Counselling is available for virtual/online or phone sessions. If you currently live in or have a permanent address in BC, Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Nunavut, we can work together.

We are currently accepting clients and it would be an honour to connect with you!

Priscilla Amaral

Priscilla was born and raised in Brazil and immigrated to Canada in 2000. She took her master’s in counselling psychology and art therapy at Adler University. Her style is casual, conversational, expressive, and when appropriate: humorous, and/or spiritual. Priscilla is a mother, sister, friend, a curious individual, and an avid learner. Her happiness stems from spending quality time with loved ones, photography, baking, going on spontaneous adventures, indulging in art-related activities, and exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness.

She identifies as a female person of colour; her pronouns are she/her. Priscilla is dedicated to continuous learning and unlearning at personal and professional levels so she can provide the best care possible to each of you. She works, lives, and plays on the traditional, and unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem First Nation, which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Qayqayt, Squamish, and Sto':lo Nations, also known as Coquitlam, British Columbia.
